Cadillac Jack is a thirty-something year veteran of the radio wars who got his start on campus radio station, WHJT-FM at Mississippi College in Clinton, MS, where he truly first learned the meaning of the word, "eclectic" with their broad and varied block format (Gospel in the morning, Classical at night and everything else in between!).
After graduation, he spent some time at Jackson, MS AM giant, WSLI, before moving on to South Louisiana and his first country gig at KLEB-FM, immediately followed by mornings at rocker KZZQ-FM. After taking a break to go to graduate school (and front row seats to the end of his first marriage), Cadillac returned to South Louisiana and programmed and did afternoons on Rock 40 KBAU-FM. He then spent a year on News/Talk KTIB-AM in Thibodaux, LA (he won't talk about it, so don't ask) before going to set up and run KLRZ-FM/Z100 as Ops Manager and morning drive co-host.
When circumstances forced him to leave KLRZ (he'll talk about this one if you get him drunk enough, but trust us, you don't want to hear it), Cadillac found a home as Music Director and Evening Air Talent on Country giant WNOE-FM in New Orleans. From there, he programmed KCIL-FM and did an ill-fated overnight show on KHOM/Mix 104 before heading to Florida, where he did the morning show on country station WYZB-FM and then on Classic Rocker, WAVE 102.1 before retiring from radio in 2006 to teach high school (believe it or not, the money was better and there were actual benefits!).
Currently, he lives somewhere in the wilds of Northwest Florida, surrounded by three daughters, three granddaughters, a cat and the adoration of millions.
